A report by WJAC indicates that police arrested 24 year old Kirklyn Strauser of Hesston, after he was spotted by police in walker twp Monday night. Strauser began the chase because police had a warrant out on him for burglary. He was also thought to be driving on a suspended license. Police say Strauser drove his car in excess of 100 mph and without headlights. Police finally stopped Strauser with spike strips, then he resisted arrest. There were 2 children ages 2 years and 6 months in the car during the pursuit, along with the kids mother. Strauser is charged with several felonies.
