A contest is held each year for local school students to get creative and paint snow plow blades that will be used by city trucks during wintertime. The four schools competing this year are Holy Trinity elementary at Fairview and Eldorado, McAuliffe Heights, Juniata Gap. The students have each concluded their paintings, and the are on display in the station medical center parking lot on 9th ave and 17th street. Folks can vote by simply going to Mayor Matt Pacifico facebook page. Voting is open until November 24th. The picture that captures the most likes will be declared the winner. All 4 plow blades will be in use this winter.
