News reports indicate that the prime suspect in the case, 35 year old Isiah Payne of Philadelphia pleaded guilty to all charges yesterday including 1st degree murder for the shooting deaths of Natalie Washington and Mikal Jackson Stevenson back in may 2020. The victims ere found shot to death inside Washington’s Beale Avenue apartment. Payne’s accomplice, 34 year old Onya Lewis of Cambria County also pled guilty to all charges including 3rd degree murder. The victims were shot after an apparent drug deal went horribly wrong. Payne and Lewis both fled the jurisdiction to Georgia, but were eventually arrested in Delaware. Payne is facing two life sentences, while Lewis faces up to 40 years behind bars.
