A fire yesterday morning, destroyed a home in Greenfield Township on the 400 block of Butler Hollow Rd. When volunteers from the Claysburg Volunteer Fire Dept., arrived at the scene, the home was completely engulfed by flames. Fortunately everyone inside the home, along with two dogs got out safely. The Red Cross is helping the family, who sadly lost everything in the blaze. Assisting in fighting the fire were departments from Blair, Cambria and Bedford Counties. Cause of the fire is under investigation.
