Governor Josh Shapiro is celebrating a new law that provides for a larger tax cut for day care costs. Act 34 increases the state tax credit to match a federal one. The biggest tax credit will increase to 21-hundred dollars, up from 630 under current state law. It applies to families who make below 43-thousand-dollars and spend at least six-thousand-dollars for care for two children.
