An 81 year old Somerset man is facing charges after he allegedly held employees of Keystone Publishing hostage with a handgun. He’s been identified as Kermit Gribble, who was arrested Monday by the Pennsylvania State Police. When officers arrived, Gribble was shouting at them to leave, and according to the criminal complaint urged officers to shoot him. Reportedly Gribble showed up at Keystone Publishing, angry and began arguing with employees before leaving the store. He then allegedly returned with a handgun and started pointing it in the direction of the workers. Fortunately no one was injured as a man was able to wrestle the gun away from him. Gribble was arrested and has been placed in the Somerset County Prison where he is facing a felony charge of terroristic threats, among other charges. Gribble was denied bail.
