Great Commission School in Altoona will soon have a new home. The Christian based school will be moving from its 6th Avenue location to a building in a shopping center in Wehnwood, that once housed a supermarket and a telemarketing firm. The school reportedly needed more space as it has maxed out its 33,000 square feet in its current three-story building. The K-12 school currently has 140 students. This brand new facility reportedly is expected to be a “state of the art” school. The goal is to move students into the new building during the 2025-26 school year.
