Pennsylvania Republican U.S. Representative Brian Fitzpatrick is part of a group of Congressional lawmakers who are trying to make sure an internet funding program doesn’t expire. The Affordable Connectivity Program is a popular government program that’s set to run out of funding in April. The ACP gives monthly 30-dollar discounts on internet service for low-income households and households on tribal lands. Fitzpatrick is supporting bipartisan legislation that would allocate seven-billion-dollars in additional funding for the program.
