St. Patrick’s Day weekend has arrived, and as expected, there is a multitude of St. Patrick’s-related live music events happening throughout the area and throughout the weekend. Many of the established St. Patrick’s events are taking place – including the annual Mac’s Irish Bash fundraiser for the McEldowney Academic Scholarship Fund, happening Friday night at the Blair County Convention Center…Dauber’s Fourteenth Annual St. Patrick’s Day Party on Saturday evening at the Gallitzin American Legion’s Oriental Ballroom, with proceeds benefiting the Gallitzin Fire Company…Tyrone Irish Heritage Weekend Friday and Saturday in downtown Tyrone…and Zach’s Sports & Spirits’ annual “St. Paddy’s on the Paddy-O” with Full Kilt providing the Irish-flavored musical sounds with two shows on Sunday.

And chances are that even if they are not billed as St. Patrick’s events, you’re likely to find folks clad in green and Irish-themed merriment at most live music events you choose to attend this weekend.
