More than 200 students from Penn State are expected to converge on the state capitol today tell lawmakers to advocate for fair funding. The students are from the University Park and Commonwealth Campuses. Leaders say past Capitol Days have been consequential in securing the University’s annual state appropriation, which supports Penn State’s in-state tuition discount. They say it saves the average in-state resident student approximately 15-thousand-dollars yearly.
