Pennsylvania is about to get more federal money for solar projects. The USDA last week announced it will be sending six million-dollars to the state. The money is earmarked for over 30 projects across the state. The money comes after the Department of Energy who, last year, sent Pennsylvania 90 million-dollars for what is supposed to be Pennsylvania’s largest solar farm, to be located in Clearfield County.  That project will be located on reclaimed mine land, and is projected to produce enough electricity to power at least 70,000 homes.
