A distressed plane landed yesterday afternoon at the Johnstown airport after the rear landing gear would not lock into place. Local first responders were called to the scene as the plane circled the airport to burn fuel to limit the severity of any potential fire caused by the landing. The pilot of the plane was able to land safely.
