Motorcyclists across Pennsylvania may soon be able to wear headphones, or have a helmet with built-in headphones, while riding. House Bill 538 was approved by the Pennsylvania House on Wednesday and those who support the bill say state laws need to be updated to reflect modern technology. Supporters say the use of headphones by motorcyclists could be safer for the riders, as they can have directions spoken through headphones instead of looking at a phone for directions. The bill now heads to the Pennsylvania Senate for further consideration.
