Students were evacuated yesterday morning after a carbon monoxide detector went off at the Greater Johnstown Career and Technology Center. Richland Fire officials were called to the scene and detected elevated levels of carbon monoxide. School officials said they experienced a power outage Wednesday night and used emergency generators for power. They reportedly say those generators could have caused the problem.  Everyone was safe and there were no reports of anyone getting sick. An investigation continues.
