State Residents Heading to Polls Today

Pennsylvanians are heading to the polls today to vote in primary elections.  Polls open at 7 and close tonight at 8. Among the contests on the ballot are the races for Republican and Democratic presidential nominations which have all but been decided. Voters will choose nominees in a U.S. Senate race and congressional contests as well as races for state attorney general, auditor general and treasurer. Closer to home, many are watching the race for state representative in the 80th district, between incumbent Jim Gregory and his Republican challenger Scott Barger.  Gregory is seeking his fourth term in office. You can listen to election coverage tonight from 9-11 pm on 98-5/1240 WRTA.  Coverage  will immediately follow  the Altoona Curve Game,  but will commence on time, at 9pm,  on the WRTA Facebook page.
