The Cambria County Coroner’s office has received new safety gear, thanks to a grant. The equipment includes, coats, pants, boots and gloves at a cost of $10,000. Reportedly the coroner’s office received the grant after taking time to provide statistical data about deaths to the Department of Health. The gear will be used to help staff members remain safe while on calls.
