
Property owners in Hollidaysburg will not be facing a tax increase. The Hollidaysburg Area School Board voted to approve its preliminary budget for the 2024-25 school year with no tax increase, however the district is facing a nearly 3 million dollar deficit. The board will meet on May 22nd and again on June 5th to discuss ways in which to narrow the deficit. The preliminary budget is available for public comment and review at the district’s office. The final budget is to be approved by the June 30th deadline.
