A Breezewood man has been arrested after he reportedly shot and killed two ponies in December at a property in East Providence Township, Bedford County. Arrested was 25 year old Waylon Brennan, who was arraigned on Wednesday on numerous counts of felony conspiracy to commit aggravated cruelty to animals. Authorities say two ponies were shot in the head and a third was shot but was found alive. During the investigation police learned that an individual who knew Brennan had contacted the owner of the ponies and warned them to remove the animals from the pasture, saying he knew someone who wanted to “do something stupid.” Brennan is currently in the Bedford County Prison in lieu of $300,000 bail.
