A Clearfield man has been accused of threatening a number of people with a machete and allegedly locking one of the victims inside a room. Arrested was 41 year old Lester Middlesworth who allegedly locked a woman inside a room at a home on Park Street in the Borough of Clearfield, while also threatening her with a machete. Clearfield Borough Police say the incident occurred shortly before noon on Saturday. Middlesworth is facing charges that include terroristic threats, recklessly endangering and other offenses. Middlesworth is currently behind bars. A preliminary hearing date has yet to be scheduled.
