The Clearfield County Coroner has identified a passenger that was killed last Friday morning when a car collided with a deer in Union Township. The accident happened around 1:30 a.m., as the driver of the car was traveling east on Rockton Mountain Highway. Police say a deer entered the roadway and was struck by the car, causing the driver to lose control into the path of another vehicle. Killed in the accident was a passenger in the car that struck the deer, and has been identified as Llewellyn Keith Brown of Luthersburg, Clearfield County. The driver suffered unknown injuries.
