A Somerset County man is facing charges after he allegedly left a 14 year old girl drive his car and then lied about it to police. 25 year old Grant Marker of Rockwood was charged after authorities spotted a car driving erratically in East Taylor Township, Cambria County. When police later found the car, they questioned Marker, who owned the car, and he claimed he was not involved. The person who reported the incident told police that Marker was not the one driving, but that it was a young girl and had video of the incident. Police went to speak to Marker again and at that time he attempted to leave the scene, but authorities were able to stop him and place him in custody. Marker is facing misdemeanor charges of endangering the welfare of children, making a false report and disorderly conduct. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 8th.
