An Altoona man who provided drugs to another man that led to an overdose, is behind bars today. Both Altoona and Logan Township Police began an investigation involving an overdose of a man on the 3200 block of Lynnwood Drive on Sunday. When police arrived at the scene, they administered naloxone, saving his life. Arrested was 32-year-old Eugene Ehredt, who reportedly is accused of dealing the heroin that led to the overdose. While executing a search warrant at Ehredt’s home, police found heroin, cocaine, and fentanyl. Ehredt has been charged with felony counts of drug delivery and numerous other related charges. He is in the Blair County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail.
