The widow of the man who was killed at Donald Trump’s rally this past weekend says she has spoken to the former President. Corey Comperatore was killed in an assassination attempt on Trump’s life. Comperatore’s wife, Helen, says she’s exchanged words with Trump after the tragedy. She wrote “He was very kind and said he would continue to call me in the days and weeks ahead.” The assassination attempt resulted in a bullet grazing Trump’s ear, as well as Comperatore’s death.
