An elderly Somerset County man has died of hypothermia after he had been living without heat in his home for some time. The 73-year-old, who has not been identified, was found in his Elk Lick Township home on January 22nd. He was discovered by state police after a welfare check was called in. The investigation also showed the man had reportedly refused assistance. Last week, a Johnstown man also died of hypothermia, after he was found living without heat or water at his home in Moxham.
