A 58-year-old Altoona man has been arrested after he allegedly filmed himself sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl in 2023. Jeffrey Hatison has been charged with filming sex acts with a child, child pornography, sexual abuse of a minor, and other related counts. Reportedly, Hatison told authorities he filmed himself with the child as evidence to protect himself, claiming the child wanted her legs massaged. Reportedly, Hatison’s girlfriend found the video on one of his old phones and turned it over to police. Hatison was arraigned yesterday and later released on $75,000 bond. His preliminary hearing is slated for April 17th.
