Pennsylvania State Police are announcing an independent review into security at the Governor’s Residence following the arson attack last weekend. State Police say they are hiring a third-party expert to conduct a risk and vulnerability assessment of the Governor’s Residence and grounds after a man was able to jump over a fence and break into the estate with incendiary devices last Sunday. Authorities said the man was able to enter the home by breaking a window with a hammer. Governor Josh Shapiro said he thinks the review is warranted, and believes it will only help the department.
