Johnstown Police are investigating a case that occurred early Saturday after a man was shot in the face after a hit-and-run incident. Police report the call that came in, was for a hit-and-run at the family Dollar on Bedford Street. Reportedly the caller, whose vehicle was struck, pursued the fleeing vehicle to a residence in Johnstown’s West End Section. Once there, a man reportedly emerged from the home and fired a shotgun at the caller, hitting him in the face with birdshot. An unidentified suspect has been taken into custody. The victim reportedly is fine, and had no life threatening injuries. No charges have yet been filed, while an investigation continues.
