Heavy rains and winds have left thousands in Central and Western Pennsylvania without power. The hardest hit counties appear to be Blair, Cambria, Clearfield, and Centre. Many trees and power lines were downed in yesterday’s storm cell with many roads in our region closed. The 700 block of Pleasant Valley Blvd., is closed because of downed trees and wires. As you travel this morning, be on the lookout for downed trees and limbs. Sugar Run Road reportedly was hit pretty hard. Centre County also got hit especially hard with road closings and damage. In Philipsburg Route 350 is closed. Officials are also reminding residents to avoid downed power lines.
