A Huntingdon County man has been charged after he allegedly assaulted a one-month old child causing severe head injuries. Arraigned over the weekend was 25-year-old Aaron Duguay. State police began an investigation after they got word that a baby with a skull fracture was initially taken to Penn Highlands Hospital before being flown to Hershey Medical. Reportedly, medical staffs at both hospitals raised concerns about the nature of the injury. A criminal complaint shows Duguay provided a written confession saying he “acted out of anger” and smacked the little girl on the right side, leaving a mark. Duguay faces charges that include endangering the welfare of children, and aggravated assault. He has been placed in the Huntingdon County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail. He faces a preliminary hearing on May 7th.
