State police in Clearfield County have arrested a 35-year-old Houtzdale man, after they say he repeatedly abused two young girls over a period of more than 10 years. Police say Randy Pinto is facing over 3500 counts of numerous charges after the two girls game forward to report the sexual abuse. Police also report that Pinto’s wife Katie, is also facing charges for allegedly knowing of the abuse and not reporting it to police. Police report the alleged abuse began when the girls were five years old, and continued until they were 16. Pinto is facing numerous charges that include 500 counts each of child rape, incest of a minor, and aggravated indecent assault. He has been placed in the Clearfield County Prison where bail has been denied. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 14th. Katie Pinto has been charged with two counts of felony child endangerment, and she is to face a preliminary hearing on June 4th.
