A fundraiser has been planned for the 22-year-old who died during the severe storm last week. Bryce Lowman was trying to extinguish a mulch fire along the 1500 block of University Drive in State College, when he was electrocuted by a damaged power line. Reportedly, he was on duty as a front desk associate at the Residence Inn in State College when the accident occurred. A GoFundMe page has been set up by the Happy Valley Adventure Bureau. The money is to be used to help Lowman’s family with funeral expenses. Lowman is survived by his parents, three brothers and his grandparents. Services for the young man are scheduled for this Saturday in his hometown of Chambersburg.
