PennDOT is informing motorists that U.S. 22 westbound will be closed from 8:00 this evening until 5:00 tomorrow morning, and eastbound will be closed from 8:00 Wednesday night, until 5:00 Thursday morning, between the Route 53-Cresson/Lilly interchange and the Route 164-Portage/Munster Interchange. Detours will be in place. The closures and detour will allow for beam removal as part of the route 2101 (Cooney Road) Bridge Project in Munster Township, Cambria County. As always PennDOT stresses motorists use extra caution while traveling through all work zones.
