Residents in Meyersdale, Somerset County are cleaning up, and authorities are assessing the damage after the area was hit by heavy rains on Tuesday. The heavy rains led to wide spread flooding throughout the Central and Southern parts of Somerset County. Emergency personnel reported the flooding resulted in two dozen roads being closed, but have since reopened as water is now receding. Several detours in the area remain, because of bridges that need to be repaired.
