Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro is reacting to the news that former President Biden has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. In a post on social media, the Governor said may Biden and his family be “lifted up by the thoughts and prayers of Americans across the country who are thinking of them right now.” Republican Senator Dave McCormick said he is praying for a speedy recovery, and Democratic Senator John Fetterman said Biden has been a fighter his whole life, and will prevail in this new battle. A spokesperson announced yesterday that the former president has been diagnosed with prostate cancer that has spread to his bones. The spokesperson went on to say Biden and his family are going over treatment options.
