No Charges Filed In Johnstown Shootout Last Year

Nearly a year after two Johnstown residents were killed in a shootout in  Johnstown’s Woodvale section, authorities have reported that based on evidence,  the surviving shooter was justified in pulling the trigger.  On June 4^th of last year, 25-year-old Haneef White reportedly opened fire towards a residence from inside a vehicle.  Police report that an unidentified individual returned fire striking White in the head.  Police report the bullet that killed White, then struck 41-year-old Janine Whitaker who was also inside the vehicle.  She died a few days later.
