Some cucumbers sold in Pennsylvania are being recalled due to a salmonella outbreak. The illnesses are tied to cucumbers grown by South Florida based Bedner Growers and distributed by Fresh Start Produce Sales. At least 26 people in 15 states have fallen ill, and nine had to be hospitalized. The outbreak follows an incident with the same company last year that sickened over 500 people. Consumers should toss their cucumbers if they’re not sure where they’re from.
