Law Banning Cellphone Use While Driving To Go Into Effect

no-phone

It will soon be illegal for drivers across Pennsylvania to use their phones while behind the wheel.  Senate Bill 37, also known as Paul Miller’s Law, completely bans the use of cell phones while behind the wheel and honors Paul Miller Junior, who was killed by a distracted 18-wheeler driver in 2010.  Starting on June 5th, those caught using cellphones behind the wheel will be issued a written warning.  Then starting in June of 2026, drivers will be issued 50-dollar fines if caught on their phones.
