Route 219 in Somerset County has reopened, ten days after flooding caused damage to the Boynton Bridge over Piney Creek. PennDOT reports that contractors completed a temporary structure over the creek on Saturday. PennDOT officials say plans are currently under review for the next phase of the project, and they are developing a timetable for the construction of a permanent replacement.
