A Johnstown man is facing numerous felony charges after leading state police on a high speed chase on South Route 219 in Somerset County.  Arrested was 24-year-old Jaiel Anthony who was arrested after a BMW blew past police at a high rate of speed.  Police reportedly tried to pull Anthony over but were unsuccessful as he allegedly began driving anywhere from 100-130 miles per hour.  The chase continued through Richland and down Scalp Avenue in Cambria County.  Police were eventually able to stop him, and when they did they discovered a 10 mm handgun outfitted with a “Glock Swith,” ammo, marijuana, and a plastic baggie containing 16 white unidentified pills.  Anthony is facing charges that include possession of a firearm prohibited, fleeing or attempting to elude police, and other related drug and driving charges.  He has been placed in the Somerset County Prison where bail was set at $100,000.  His preliminary hearing is slated for June 2nd.
