A Hollidaysburg man was arrested Monday night by state police, following a high speed chase in Cambria County that started in Ebensburg. Arrested was 44-year-old James Potts who reportedly led police on a high speed chase that reached speeds of up to 90 mph. Police say Potts was eventually arrested after he wrecked his vehicle in Vintondale and then attempted to flee on foot. State police also report that Potts was driving on a suspended license. Potts is facing more than 40 charges including felonies for aggravated assault, and fleeing police. He is currently in the Cambria County Prison where bail has been set at $600,000. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 10th.
