A Clearfield County mother has been charged by state police, for not reporting a man’s alleged sex abuse of her daughter. As we reported yesterday, 38-year-old Devin Moore of Grampian was arrested after he reportedly struck two young girls during a dispute. As the investigation unfolded one of the victims told police that Moore allegedly molested her for nearly 5 years beginning when she was in 4th grade. Devin Moore was charged with over 2,000 charges including 500 felony counts of indecent assault. He is currently in the Clearfield County Jail where bail has been denied. It was also learned the mother of the girls, 38-year-old Sara Moore, who is also from Grampian, allegedly knew about the abuse and did not report it. She is facing numerous counts of child endangerment and is currently free on unsecured bail. Her preliminary hearing is slated for June 11th.
