Heavy rains that hit the area last Friday caused a very large sinkhole to open up in Antis Township. The sinkhole was located near a storm drain in the Sunrise Court neighborhood. Reportedly, the sinkhole has been a problem for about 15 years. The flash flooding also resulted in flooded basements in that area. In the meantime, today’s forecast calls for occasional thunderstorms this afternoon.
