Anti-ICE Protests In Philadelphia Area

Protests against ICE continue to spread across major US cities including Philadelphia.  An anti-ICE protest took place in Old City outside Independence mall Monday afternoon, as demonstrators stand in solidarity with protesters in LA where the President has called in additional National guardsman and marines.  There was also a weekend protest in Norristown, where nearly two dozen people have reportedly been detained.  Meantime, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro and other members of the Democratic Governors Association are calling President Trump’s activation of the National Guard in LA an “alarming abuse of power.”
