An Altoona couple has been charged after a toddler and an infant were reportedly found living in deplorable conditions. Twenty-two-year-old Suzane Rodgers, and 20-year-old Charles Weatherwalk have both been charged with two counts of child endangerment. Police report the couple had a 2-year-old, and a 2-month old living in a home filled with trash and cockroaches. Altoona Police were called to the home on the 300 block of Bell Avenue on Monday, after a Children and Youth Services worker called with concerns. Police report there was almost no place to walk inside the home, due to the high volume of trash. Both Rodgers and Weatherwalk were arrested and arraigned. Weatherwalk was released on bail, while Rodgers was placed in the Blair County Prison with her bail having been set at $30,000.
