A Centre County woman was charged yesterday with felony child endangerment after police alleged she intentionally withheld a key medical device from a diabetic teenager. Arrested was 40-year-old Elizabeth Timblin of Spring Township. She is accused of withholding a continuous glucose monitoring device from a Type 1 diabetic, for three weeks last month, which resulted in the 17-year-old having to be hospitalized in critical condition. Timblin has been charged with a felony count of criminal use of a communication facility, and a misdemeanor count of recklessly endangering another person. She was arraigned yesterday, and released on unsecured bail. Her preliminary hearing is slated for June 25th.
