Anyone in Central Pennsylvania that has wanted to participate in one of the best-known Fourth of July traditions in the country will get their chance this weekend. Nathan’s Famous has announced it is holding a qualifying event for this year’s Hot Dog Eating Contest at Hersheypark Saturday afternoon. The top male and female finishers will qualify for the International contest on Coney Island in New York City. The qualifiers will begin at two.
