A number of people were arrested in Cambria County yesterday because of their alleged involvement in what is being called a large-scale drug organization in the Johnstown area.  Officers reportedly conducted a total of 28 controlled purchases where drugs were bought from individuals.  Some of those drugs included methamphetamine, fentanyl, crack cocaine, and heroin.  The charges came about after an informant told police he was aware of a multi-state, multi-county trafficking organization that distributed drugs in Cambria County as well as in Detroit, Michigan, and Columbus, Ohio.  Three of those arrested were from Johnstown, and include 28-year-old Morgan Deitle, 44-year-old Amanda Pavlik, and 65-year-old Joseph Mangum.  All are facing numerous drug charges, and reportedly more charges are forthcoming.
