The Central Pennsylvania Humane Society’s annual “Bikers for Barkers” on Saturday was a huge success, as hundreds of bikers donated money and their time to be part of a nearly 100-mile motorcade to benefit the shelter. The event was sponsored by Roundhouse Harley Davidson on Route 764 in Duncansville, and Lightner Communications. The event was held to help raise funds for the new animal shelter the humane society is building along the Old Sixth Avenue Road in Antis Township. So far, the shelter has raised 2 of the 4-million needed to construct the new building.
