PennDOT is reminding motorists of a planned detour starting today for Route 36, Union Avenue in Altoona, due to the Mill Run Bridge Project. Union Avenue from Baker Boulevard will be closed through October of this year. The detour will use East Plank Road, Logan Boulevard, and 6th and 7th Avenues. Any businesses located south of the bridge along Union Avenue can be accessed from Plank Road to East Ward Avenue. Local traffic will be able to access Baker Boulevard.
