A Huntingdon County man has been arrested after he was accused of allegedly planning on meeting a teen at a playground in Punxsutawney to have sex with her. Forty-nine-year-old Michael Bollinger of Mount Union, is accused of connecting with a 15-year-old, who turned out to be a decoy set up by a pred-hunters group. According to the Punxsutawney Borough Police, the group handed over to police, messages that were very explicit between Bollinger, and who he thought was a 15-year-old girl. The messages reportedly showed that Bollinger made plans to meet the teen at a playground and take her to a hotel to engage in sexual activities on June 23rd. Police arrived at the set time, and location and arrested Bollinger. He is facing criminal attempt charges that include deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 16, aggravated indecent assault, and other related counts. He has been placed in the Jefferson County Prison where bail has been set at $50,000. A preliminary hearing has been set for July 3rd.
